Paul is one of the two co-founders of Aerobotika. His passion is for the technology and flying side of the business.

Technology: Paul is responsible to research emerging technologies, integrate them into AAI’s operations and provide bleeding edge technology and services to AAI customers. His focus in this area is to find and implement the technologies that have the most potential impact in delivering better value to your business.

Operations: Field operations are the most involving and complex part of a business like ours. Paul is responsible for ensuring that we meet and exceed the regulatory requirements and strict industry safety guidelines that are put in place by governing bodies in the areas that we operate.

Experience

Paul has been an enterprise architect and technology integration consultant for large enterprises in the telecommunications, oil and gas and mining sectors since 1995 with a focus on solving business problems with emerging technologies. With his experience and education in this area, he is armed with a strong toolset in planning, development, project management and technology lifecycle.

Paul has also been involved in the custom design, construction, and flight of remotely piloted aircraft for more than 20 years and founded Aerobotika Aerial Intelligence to collaborate on UAV research and development. His passion for unmanned flight covers the full spectrum from exploring the market for opportunities in innovation, to creating a fully compliant and safe business model, to advocating for the advancement of UAV use for industrial applications.

At Aerobotika, Paul’s mission is to enable the industry to grow through the creation of new integrated technologies to make unmanned aviation safer and better for both unique and routine commercial use with a focus on innovations in coexistence, improved data analysis, and platform development. Based on his innovative ideas for unmanned technology, Paul is in discussions to become an unmanned systems educator at a technology institute and has been invited to be a lecturer at one of the largest universities in British Columbia.
