Mapping

Aerobotika has 3 aircraft dedicated to mapping and surveying services. We are able to map 500 acres of land per hour and fly up to (6000 acres of mapping per 12 hour day) although the area that we can cover depends on several variables such as altitude and wind.

Using traditional aerial photographs we capture thousands of individual images. After the flying day, we process the images with our specialized aerial mapping software and produce the 2D image or the 3D model.

2D (Flat) mapping

The software stitches the thousands of images together to produce a large and very high resolution image of the mapped area. The resolution of our maps can be as finite as 5CM per pixel.

The large map image that we produce can be viewed immediately, or can be used by our surveying services to overlay critical information on the area that you need to see. Our outputs are compatible

3D mapping

Building upon our 2D mapping capability with the multiple perspectives captured in the hundreds or thousands of aerial photos we are able to employ our potogrammetry service to create a full three-dimensional model of the subject area. See our photogrammetry technology page for more infomation on photogrammetry

Our 3D models can be imported into any engineering software to give the ability to use the model in planning property development, civil engineering projects, resource management, agriculture planning, disaster prevention, and much more.

Here are a few examples of our 3D models:
